$1300 for an HP-Branded Gaming PC
Written by Pinky
Sunday, 26 April 2009
Was browsing through “the egg” and found a well-assembled performance desktop package. HP’s Firebird enjoys a 2.66GHz quad-core processor (Intel’s Q9400), 2 250GB hard drives, and 4GB of RAM. A DVD burner and a 5-in-1 card reader give this setup more variety. But by far the most mouth-watering feature of HP’s desktop is its two NVIDIA [...]

The man behind Liliputing put an Asus Eee Top ET1602 through its paces, especially detailing what was possible through the touch-sensitive display, and coming up with the following conclusion. The Eee Top is an interesting machine. It looks like an iMac, but runs like a netbook — with a touchscreen display. I think it’s plenty powerful [...]

Falcon Northwest’s newest FragBoxes are impressive, packing gaming power “in the size of a shoebox”, as the marketing tagline goes. Unfortunately, the basic build will you set you back by $2072.90 (not counting shipping and applicable sales taxes). Would it be possible to get that same kind of power and portability at a lower price? I [...]

Baby Shaker iPhone Game Taken Down
Written by Pinky
Sunday, 26 April 2009
There really is something wrong with the Apple App Store certification process. While you read about designers complaining about their apparently legitimate apps getting rejected, you also read about Apple having to take down a game because it outraged organizations throughout the country. The game in question, “Baby Shaker”—which is definitely outrageous—isn’t even revolutionary nor interesting. [...]

In any case, the only motherboard on NewEgg (where I got the other parts) than will fit into the microATX case and support the Core i7 [...]

Workout Mini Burst
Written by Pinky
Sunday, 26 April 2009
The weight training portion of my workout was brief today.  I decided to focus more on burning fat than building muscle because my entire week to this point was being sick, eating, getting better, eating and then being ok, eating and not going to the gym.  So with that sequence, I decided to go heavy [...]

Twilight Update: “New Moon” Footage

Sunday, 26 April 2009
I know that many people think the Twilight saga is only for girls but I’ve known a lot of guys who have reluctantly admitted to reading the books or watching the movie (even celebs like Ryan Seacrest, Jimmy Fallon and Pete Wentz).  That said, I normally write about movies that guys would like but [...]

“H2: Halloween 2” Teaser Trailer
Written by Pinky
Sunday, 26 April 2009
The trailer for Rob Zombie’s upcoming sequel H2: Halloween 2 was recently released and I will admit to being curious.  Truthfully, I’m a huge horror movie fan and the original Halloween (1978) is one of the best film’s I’ve ever seen.  It was so innovative for its time and that opening scene which was [...]

A Site For The Car Fanatics
Written by Pinky
Sunday, 26 April 2009
I could never understand why guys like to add body kits to their car. After all, a car is just a vehicle to take you from one location to another. But just guys who could never understand about fashions, make-ups and shopping, perhaps cars are really a piece of art. And only the addicts can understand [...]

I think we’ve been in a bad credit situation at least once in our lifetime. Even in simple scenarios like these: • failure to pay household • credit card • loan(s) • rent bills which we overlook can lead to us having bad credit, especially the part on our credit cards. I myself have been late on several occasion paying off the bills. Bad credit [...]

How to Look Slim
Written by Pinky
Tuesday, 03 March 2009
Forgot that you are on a diet and gained a couple of unwanted pounds? Well it’s really easy to indulge yourself with delicious food or alcoholic beverages and there are always ways where you can instantly conceal your fatty tissues.

Wear something black

Yes, black is elegant and exotic and best of all, because the fabric is black, it can easily help you conceal all your fatty areas and make it less obvious.

Wear something stretchy underneath

Well I’m sure that you have heard of the girdle – but I’m not asking you to put such torturous device underneath your clothes. But rather, you can wear something stretchy and tight underneath to help give a slimmer outlook outside your dress.

Drink less water

Although I don’t really recommend you to do so, but apparently if you drink too much water, your skin will eventually retain water, giving you the fatty look.

How to Loose Weight on a Fruit Diet?
Written by Pinky
Monday, 23 February 2009
Can’t stop eating all those delicious and sweet fatty food? Well to tell you the truth, I do have a sweet tooth myself and it’s really hard to control my appetite at times.

Of course, if you are looking for a crash course on how to get slimmer without giving up food, I would recommend you to go on a fruit diet.

As you can see, fruit is fat free and best of all, most of the fruit that you find in the market have very low calories.

Nevertheless, I’m pretty sure that you can eat lots of fruits on a daily basis and you can just stop eating your regular meals by substituting it with a fruit diet.

However, do take note that there are side effects from eating too much fruit – such as an increase of gassy volume which might prompt you to go to the loo more often.

The next time you shop for something - remember to check all the price, vendor reliability, additional information on the product before you make a purchase!
